Summer 2020 “Aftermath”

Our theme for summer 2020 was “Aftermath.” This theme shaped our curriculum for both class times, our videos, discussion guides, devotionals, and our retreats. The goal of this theme was to examine how God’s people responded to the aftermath of life’s difficult situations.

On Sunday mornings we looked at specific situations in scripture and how certain individuals responded (positively or negatively) after a tough ask from God, persecution, or similar. On Wednesday nights we discussed how Jesus responded to people and in difficult circumstances and the sort of characteristics Jesus calls us to respond with when we face the consequences of a fallen world.

Check out our summer 2020 videos below.
